art de TREEomphe

prints for sale

art de TREEomphe designs prints, and other artwork, derived from many years of extensive photography and cataloging of Australian tree bark, as well as tree species from other regions of the planet

The prints will be made available in electronic format to purchase and download in the not too distant future, and are currently available for those in North American from Pictorem in Montréal, where you can see a small collection of prints in-situ on the Pictorem site - see "prints/montréal' on menu

The intention of this site is to offer a range of prints in electronic format

Each print will be made available in 3 file formats, so you can make these available to your local professional printer to be printed on your preferred medium

The file formats at this stage will be tif, jpg, and pdf in sRGB colour space

Below are some examples of the tree bark and landscape prints to be made available electronically
The prints are mostly large-format, 1.5 meters (60inches) wide

We're expecting these to sell for around USD $60 as electronic downloads, including applicable Australian taxes

Add your printing costs and you have a unique high-quality wide-frame print

Another version is available with the German word nature in subtle 3D script
sRGB appears the best way to make prints available electronically to such a wide audience for printing wherever you are in the world

Many other options were considered and trialed, including various ICC flavours of CMYK

However, there are many different colour profiles being used by professional printers, including confidential proprietary ones, and a great many printers profess established conversion practices from sRGB, and specifically request this format be used. Pictorem also use this approach
  • These playful colours contrast against the backdrop of the remote Barkley Tablelands, QLD

Another version is available with the Norwegian word "friluftsliv" in subtle 3D script
  • These are the rich complementary tones that look great on a HD metal print

Another version is available with the Chinese characters for nature in subtle 3D script
  • These fading tones of bark morph into the background of Kakadu National Park

Another version is available with the Hindi characters for nature in subtle 3D script
We have many other prints, soon to be released, that use character sets from around the world that have some direct relationship with nature, either the word itself or a directly associated theme

As you can see, I love language, and have learnt a few over the years for travel and work - enough to get by and enhance my experiences and engagement with people
The following prints are also large, 60 cm (23 inches) wide

We're expecting these to sell for around USD $30 as electronic downloads, including applicable Australian taxes

Add your printing costs and you have a unique high-quality large wall print

The border on these prints is of dark cracked earth
  • Corakai Storm
  • After The Fire
  • Granite Belt Sunset
  • Clarence River Sunset
